Bank account and share capital

How the share capital is paid in to the company's first bank account.

For a limited company, the share capital is paid in to the company's first bank account, and the bank confirms to the register that the money is there. Only in Norway

The four steps

  1. Bank chosen — you choose the bank the company will use.
  2. Account opened — once the founding document is signed, and blocked for withdrawals until the company is registered.
  3. The owners pay in — each owner pays their part from their own account.
  4. The bank confirms to the register — once the whole amount is in.

Each owner pays for their own shares from their own account; that is how the bank can confirm who put in what.

In Brigg

This step is not ready in Brigg yet: there is no bank agreement in place, so the screen shows how it will work and says Waiting for the bank.
