Submitting and the decision

Submit the filing to the Brønnøysund Register Centre yourself, and receive the decision and the organisation number.

The last press is yours. Submitting founds a company, raises a fee and cannot be withdrawn, so nobody — not even the agent — does it for you. Only in Norway

Submit

The Submit screen lists what is ready — each signed document, and whether the register has checked the details — and what happens when you submit. If something is still missing, it says what, and the button cannot be pressed. What is sent lists the documents that go with the filing.

Press Submit to the register to submit. The answer usually comes within a few working days.

The decision

The decision: the company is registered, with its organisation number
The decision: the company is registered, with its organisation number

The answer comes back to the overview, and by email:

  • Decision · approved — the company is registered, with its Organisation number.
  • Decision · refused — with the register's reasons. If you change anything in the filing, the documents have to be signed again.
  • Submitted · being processed — the register has the filing but has not decided yet.

Below are the Receipt id and whether the Invoice from the register has been received.
