The deal page

One deal: its value, stage and probability, the line items it sells, and quotes made from them.

Click a deal on the board, in the list or on a customer's Deals tab to open it.

The top

  • Deal value — what the deal is worth. When the deal has line items, the value is their total. When some of them are subscriptions, it shows the one-off amount plus the amount per month, and what the first year adds up to.
  • The labels — the stage, its probability and the expected close date.
  • New quote — make a quote for the customer from one of your templates, built from the deal's line items. The quote is attached to the deal and opens for you to review.
  • The stage bar — click a stage to move the deal there. The bar ends with the won stage; to mark a deal as lost, drag it to the lost column on the board.
  • Owner (top right) — click to change. ⋯ has Delete.

Line items

What the deal sells, one row per product:

  • Product, Quantity, Unit and Unit price — click a cell to change it.
  • Revenue — One-off, Per month, Per quarter or Per year.
  • Total — quantity × unit price.
  • For a subscription, you can add a period: From and Through.

Add product… picks a product from your price list, and copies its name, unit, price and revenue type onto the line — later price changes do not change the line. Custom line adds a line that is not in the price list. The trash can removes a line.

Underneath are the totals. With subscriptions, they are split into One-off, Per month (MRR) and Per year (ARR).

About the deal

Company, Contact, Owner, Expected close and Tags. A lost deal also has Lost reason. Edit opens the same fields, plus Description and Value — the value can only be typed in while the deal has no line items.

When the quote is signed

When a quote made from the deal is signed, the deal moves to the won stage by itself, and its line items are copied to the company's Products tab, marked as agreed. See Products and line items.

The tabs

  • Activity — notes on the deal, and when it was created, won or lost.
  • Documents — the quotes and other documents attached to the deal.
